To keep our costs low, the donation platform we use automatically defaults to a “tip” option on the second step of the form. If you click the dropdown arrow, you may select “Other” and leave the amount as $0. Similarly, the system defaults to the donor covering the credit card processing fees. If you click the “edit” link, it will reveal a textbox with a checkbox that you can unselect to eliminate the fees from your donation. The PLACE will still have to pay the fees but you, the donor, do not have to.
