There Are Many Ways You Can Volunteer:
Lead Volunteer
A lead volunteer works directly with our youth in Shelter or Drop In Center. While there are many options available to us, some possible opportunities include:
- Shelter meal cooking (Being a group leader)
- Instructor led group activities
- Craft(s)
- Court ordered community service
- Vocational development
- Education and job skills
- Misc. mentorship

Requirements-
- In order to provide lead volunteer services, you will need to follow our specific requirements. If you want to volunteer as a group and have it be an opportunity around our youth, one person in your group will have needed to complete these requirements. This includes:
- Volunteer Orientation
- Shelter and/or Drop-In Tour
- Full Onboarding Training (Assigned as needed)
- Waivers (Including):
- Volunteer Waiver
- Media Waiver
- Confidentiality Statement
- Reference Check (Including):
- CO Sex Offender Check
- FBI Sex Offender Check
General Volunteer
General volunteer opportunities work directly with our youth in Shelter or Drop In Center. These opportunities are fully staff supervised. While there are many options available to us, some possible opportunities include:
- Instructor led group activities
- Craft(s)
- Court ordered community service
- Vocational development
- Education and job skills
- Misc. mentorship

Indirect Care Volunteering
Indirect care volunteer opportunities are best for groups but can also be pursued on your own. While there are many options available to us, some possible opportunities include:
- Maintenance and/or repair of facilities
- Admin assistance
- Yard work
- Preparing/cleaning rooms for youth in housing
- Picking up essential items for youth

Requirements-
- In order to provide Indirect Care volunteer services, you will need to follow our specific requirements. This training includes:
- Volunteer Orientation
- Waivers (Including):
- Volunteer Waiver
- Media Waiver
- Confidentiality Statement
- Reference Check (Including):
- CO Sex Offender Check
- FBI Sex Offender
Shelter Meal Cooking
Cooking for our Shelter is our most vital and needed service. Currently our most needed shifts are from Breakfast (Monday-Sunday) in the window of 5:00am-8:00am and Dinner (Monday-Saturday) in the window of 4:00pm-7:00pm.
- *If you want to lead a group of volunteers to cook in our Shelter, there will be additional requirements as identified in our Lead Volunteer opportunity
- All shifts are fully staff supervised. In the future, a lead volunteer will be utilized too to ask act as this supervision.

If you registered in our previous system Volgistics, your information has securely been transferred to Bloomerang Volunteer. By following the link below, enter the email that you used when registering previously as a volunteer. From there, you can select your desired opportunity and register for shifts.
