There Are Many Ways You Can Volunteer:
Direct Care Volunteering
Direct volunteer opportunities work directly with our youth in Shelter or Drop In Center. While there are so many options available to us, some possible opportunities include:
- Shelter meal cooking
- Instructor led group activities
- Craft(s)
- Court ordered community service
- Vocational development
- Education and job skills
- Misc. mentorship

- Requirements-
- In order to provide Direct Care and One-Time volunteer services, you will need to follow our specific requirements. This training includes:
- Volunteer Orientation
- Full Onboarding Training
- Waivers (Including):
- Volunteer Waiver
- Media Waiver
- De-Escalation
- Confidentiality Statement
- Reference Check (Including):
- BIU Background Check
- CO Sex Offender Check
- FBI Sex Offender Check
One-Time Volunteering

Indirect Care Volunteering
Indirect volunteer opportunities are best for groups but can also be pursued on your own. While there are so many options available to us, some possible opportunities include:
- Maintenance and/or repair of facilities
- Admin assistance
- Yard work
- Preparing/cleaning rooms in housing
- Picking up essential items for youth

If you registered in our previous system Volgistics, your information has securely been transferred to Bloomerang Volunteer. By following the link below, enter the email that you used when registering previously as a volunteer. From there, you can select your desired opportunity and register for shifts.
