In-Kind Donations

There are many ways to support the needs of the young people served by The PLACE. Monetary gifts are the most advantageous in that it allows flexibility in purchasing what is needed, when it’s needed. However, if you are the kind of person who likes to give something tangible, there are many items that would support youth on the streets, in our shelter, and in our housing programs.

The PLACE has established an Amazon wish list that reflects the items we most commonly use within our programs. Please note that we are not particular about brands or quantities. The items listed are meant to represent the broader product (ex. any shampoo or conditioner would be appreciated, it doesn’t have to be the brand selected on the list). Check it out HERE.

Thank you for making The PLACE the destination for your philanthropy!

At this time, The PLACE can only accept new clothing items. If you are looking to donate used clothing, please reach out to our partners at Goodwill ( or Arc Thrift Stores ( Thank you!

If you’d like to drop off in-kind items, please call our Development Coordinator, Jelindra Hiam, at 719.338.9257 to schedule a time.
