Support with In-Kind Donations

Your generosity makes a direct difference in the lives of young people experiencing homelessness. By donating everyday essentials, you help youth feel cared for and supported as they work toward stability and independence.

How to Donate Items

To schedule a drop-off of in-kind donations, please contact our Development Team via email development@theplacecos.org or phone 719-653-2527.

Our Amazon Wish List

You can also browse our Amazon Wish List, featuring the practical items our clients use most. We welcome any brand or size—whether it’s shampoo, socks, or bedding, every contribution matters.

What We Need Most

We prioritize practicality over brand names or specific quantities. Think of items that provide comfort, hygiene, and daily support for youth in our drop-in center, housing programs, and on the streets.

Why It Matters

Every blanket, backpack, or bottle of shampoo is more than just an item—it’s a message of dignity and hope. Together, we can ensure youth know their community cares.

Prefer to give another way? Monetary gifts allow our staff to quickly purchase items that may not come in through donations, ensuring youth always have what they need when they need it.

Clothing & Used Donations:

We partner with Goodwill to provide free clothing vouchers for youth at The PLACE. Instead of relying on a limited supply of donated items, vouchers allow young people to shop for clothing that fits their size, style, and needs—while also practicing budgeting and financial skills. This approach gives youth dignity, choice, and empowerment, while helping us make the best use of our limited space.
